Anniversary shoot

Each year, where possible, the Club tries to organise an annual anniversary shoot, to celebrate its formation in 1906. Members can shoot in two small-bore prone rifle competitions; a 'Through the Ranges competition' for the 'Memorial Trophy', and an 'Any-sights competition' for the 'Foxbury Shield'.

2006 saw good conditions on the outdoor ranges during most of the day. Only the late afternoon shooters had a cross wind to contend with. In the Any-sights class A competition, three members shot 5 cards with only 3 points dropped on each. Once member was promoted from class D to class C, which he then won!
